The Soviet Union RAN the working class -- it was not run by them!
This was true from the first year the Bolsheviks were in power.
Those sorts of regimes have no relationship to what I consider socialism.
On the other hand, if you just want a nice democracy and none of that nasty socialism, just realize that as long as the capitalists call the shots, democracy will always come second.

The cartoon is obviously the work of Zapiro, a man badly lacking in knowledge and understanding. He is more to be pitied than condemned. Why? Because in producing cartoon like this, it is like he were standing on the roof tops and shouting to the world how stupid he is. And a man blind to his own stupidity is worse than a fool.
Yes, it is Zapiro. You can say all you want about stupidity and lack of knowledge and understanding. Everything in this cartoon is true and documented many times over. If you had a valid point to make, you would make a specific criticism instead of blanket dismissals.
